[Justin Sun Demands Over $260,000 in Sanctions Fees from WLFI, Alleging Concealment of UAE Shareholder Information] BlockBeats reports that on November 4th, Tron founder Justin Sun filed a lawsuit in a U.S. federal court demanding $263,821.20 in sanctions fees from World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a cryptocurrency project linked to the Trump family, and its lawyers. He alleges that WLFI submitted misleading disclosure documents in a lawsuit concerning their $45 million investment in WLFI, concealing a UAE affiliate in the company's ownership chain. Justin Sun and two co-plaintiffs claim that WLFI initially listed Florida as its place of business in court documents, only revising the disclosure nearly three months later to list 22 individuals and entities in the ownership chain, including a UAE affiliate. WLFI subsequently argued that the federal court lacked jurisdiction due to the company's UAE connections. Justin Sun stated that he plans to re-file the lawsuit in California state court after the sanctions application is resolved. A hearing is scheduled for December 10th. The two parties had previously filed lawsuits against each other regarding the freezing of Justin Sun's tokens. Sun sued WLFI in April, while WLFI countersued in May for defamation. [Original Link]
