President Trump congratulated Democrats on their 2026 midterm victory, telling FOX News: “Congratulations to the Democrats. They did a good job." 🇺🇸 Trump holds total veto power over anything Democrats try to pass, which means every piece of legislation for the next two years requires his signature. Democrats need him more than he needs them, government funding, the debt ceiling, and any policy agenda they want to advance all run through the Oval Office. He grew his vote total from 63 million in 2016 to 74 million in 2020 to over 77 million in 2024. No Republican in history has matched that trajectory.
