The market is finally breaking down! To stabilize the A-shares market, listed companies are even resorting to normalized borrowing to prop up their shares!
The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has released a series of measures to stabilize the market. Let me highlight a few interesting ones:
1) The interest rate for special relending for stock buybacks and shareholding increases has been reduced to 1%, and this will be implemented long-term, allowing listed companies to obtain lower-cost funds for buybacks.
2) The third batch of applications for stock swap facilities exceeded 100 billion yuan, with 31 securities firms and funds preparing to participate.
3) 18 actively managed ETFs have raised over 35 billion yuan, and fund managers are encouraged to accelerate portfolio construction.
4) Research is being conducted on optimizing margin trading and securities lending rules to appropriately release financing space and increase market liquidity.
Wow, institutions have liquidity tools, listed companies have low-cost buyback funds, fund managers have newly raised money, and now they're even researching how to get retail investors to borrow more funds.
Now the entire market is trying to buy stocks, but the fear is that people won't actually buy them.
