Somewhat ironic. While discussions focus on hackers leveraging AI to enhance attacks, Binance disclosed: Hackers used Binance's internal AI tools as a springboard to gain control of the work environments of two other wallet engineers from the computer of one compromised engineer. A new question arises: As companies actively introduce AI to improve internal efficiency, are they unknowingly amplifying security risks? Did Binance's internal AI tools, due to inadequate security design, permission isolation, or access control, inadvertently provide hackers with new attack paths?
