Morgan Stanley Becomes One of the First Banks to Adopt DTCC Tokenization Service. Morgan Stanley announced that it has become one of the first banks to tokenize real-world assets since the launch of the DTCC Tokenization Service (DTS), having already converted U.S. stocks and U.S. Treasuries into tokenized forms. Launched on October 28, DTS enables the creation of tokenized representations backed by securities custodied by DTC to improve liquidity, collateral liquidity, and capital efficiency.
