At the meeting, Lee Do-kyu, Director of the Information and Communication Policy Office of the Ministry of Science and ICT, and Keith Strier, Senior Vice President of Global AI Marketing at AMD, discussed plans to combine AMD's CPUs and GPUs with domestically produced South Korean NPUs to build a heterogeneous AI computing infrastructure. The two sides also reviewed the progress of projects such as the establishment of an AMD AI Research Center, university support, and AI talent training, and discussed specific implementation plans and subsequent timelines.
