BTC
I don’t see many people talking about a scenario like this, but it’s definitely one worth considering.
Back in 2023, BTC consolidated for roughly 7 months before eventually breaking out of its range and going on to
establish a new ATH.
Considering that cycles are becoming progressively shorter, I don’t expect BTC to range that long again. However, even a compressed version could still take 3-4 months to fully play out.
From here, I could see BTC first retesting the $79k-$80k breakdown area before rejecting and sweeping the September low.
That could then trigger the long awaited expansion towards $87k, where breakout buyers are likely to step in and potentially get trapped.
One final move back towards the range lows could then follow, shaking out late longs one last time before the actual expansion begins and BTC finally leaves this range behind.
