The Capital Markets Alliance (CMA), whose members include Cboe, Citadel Securities and Healthy Markets, has filed a lawsuit challenging the CFTC’s approval of perpetual futures on individual U.S. stocks. The group argues the products fall under the SEC’s exclusive jurisdiction and is asking a federal court to overturn the approvals.
