[Salus: Approximately 3,600 SOL Tokens Stolen from Binance Flowed into HitBTC Hot Wallet via Multiple Paths] Security firm Salus published an article on the X platform stating that approximately 3,600 SOL tokens from the stolen Binance funds were transferred via automated scripts through multiple paths, employing a peeling chain method, and flowed into the HitBTC hot wallet at 16:51 Beijing time on November 3rd. Salus stated that HitBTC has once again appeared in the money laundering path of major cryptocurrency thefts, with approximately $22 million in illicit funds flowing into the platform as of July this year. In the approximately $1.4 billion Bybit theft, at least $3.68 million in funds related to North Korean money laundering networks also flowed into HitBTC, and Bybit's subsequent requests for assistance in the investigation received almost no response. Salus pointed out that hackers often use nested services such as instant exchange services, small exchanges, and OTC to launder money, and HitBTC played a key role in multiple cases.
