Even before North Korea denied the hacking allegations, I already felt it didn't resemble North Korean hacking methods. It's really a matter of opinion; having traded for a while, I felt this hacker had been manipulating contracts for quite some time.
The General's hacking team doesn't have the habit of withdrawing cryptocurrency, dumping it, and then immediately going long; I've never seen that before.
Cryptocurrency theft and money laundering are standardized procedures for North Korean hackers. Even a small extra action, even a little less money, would affect their resume, and in serious cases, it could impact their family. Why would they do something so subjectively risky? These kinds of actions are telltale signs, unavoidable, obvious at a glance.
