The model of getting your coin listed on Binance, which everyone has become accustomed to over the past few years, is increasingly losing its luster. On one hand, Binance has significantly tightened its listing channels, making it difficult even for Perp to get listed. On the other hand, the number of high-quality, well-narrative projects yet to be listed in the VC Pipeline has also decreased.
Trading US stocks can boost trading volume and seemingly create impressive data, but ultimately, the underlying asset is someone else's, something anyone can do. The profit potential and control are completely incomparable to altcoins.
One is like owning your own platform; you have control. You can choose which narrative you like and which trend you want to create—the power is entirely in your hands. The other is playing someone else's platform on your own turf, taking a cut of the turnover—the difference is enormous.
I think the glorious altcoin boom of the past is unlikely to be repeated.
In the post-altcoin era, how to break through the current predicament and find a stable, proactive, and profitable model is a major test for all exchanges, especially the leading one, @binancezh.
For those of us in this industry, especially individual investors, this is something we need to think about more. We can't get stuck in a cycle of waiting and clinging to outdated methods.
