According to The Defiant, the French National Assembly has again postponed the vote on the revenue portion of the 2027 budget, originally scheduled for November 3rd, with 758 amendments still pending review. The proposal to tax the exchange of crypto assets for stablecoins, which was passed separately on October 16th, remains in the provisional budget text published on November 2nd. According to this proposal, starting January 1, 2027, capital gains generated when individuals exchange crypto assets for fiat-pegged electronic currency tokens will be taxable, even if not converted to fiat currency. This proposal has not yet become law, and the National Assembly must complete the first reading of the budget by November 17th. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/france-delays-budget-vote-stablecoin-tax-on-crypto-exchange-71249
