[NFT Project Robin Guards Accuses Over 100 Crypto KOLs of Fake Followers, Millions of Followers Lead to Only 200 Sales] According to a post on X by Robin Guards, the team recruited 200 crypto Twitter KOLs to promote its NFT project. These accounts had a combined follower count of over 10 million, but the project ultimately sold only 200 NFTs, a conversion rate of approximately 0.002%. The project claims that some KOLs accused it of being a scam after refusing to continue paying. Robin Guards publicly named over 100 collaborating KOLs, accusing them of purchasing fake followers and interactions, inflating engagement through interactive groups, and using AI-generated replies. The project also claims that @grebby, who first accused them of fraud, sold fake followers and interactions services to clients including several of the named KOLs.
