Yao Shunyu Denies Starting His Own Business: Still Working at Google DeepMind According to The Paper, in response to online rumors that he was preparing to start a Recursive Self-Improvement (RSI) company, former Anthropic researcher Yao Shunyu stated on the evening of November 2nd that he has not founded any company and is still an employee of Google DeepMind, adding that he "has absolutely no idea where this false information came from." Yao Shunyu graduated from the Department of Physics at Tsinghua University and joined DeepMind after leaving Anthropic last September. He is not the same person as Yao Shunyu, the current Chief AI Scientist at Tencent and former OpenAI researcher.
