Matthew Sigel, Head of Digital Asset Research at VanEck, stated that Citi Wealth Management recently released a report titled "Expanding Your Investable Asset Range: An Introduction to Crypto ETFs," which introduces suitable investors to ways to gain exposure to crypto assets through spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs. Citi previously announced on August 18th its plan to launch a Bitcoin custody service for institutional clients through its Custody+ platform this year. Sigel said that, to his knowledge, the service was originally scheduled to launch last week, and the recent Binance hack may be one of the reasons why Citi has not yet announced a specific launch date.
