According to Bloomberg, Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, issued a statement through the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) denying North Korea's involvement in the theft of approximately $6.3 billion in crypto assets from Binance, calling the FBI's attribution of the attack to North Korea "absurd" and a "serious political provocation." Previously, the FBI attributed the Binance attack that occurred around October 29 to the North Korean hacking activity TradeTraitor, stating that it had observed attackers primarily converting the stolen assets into ETH, and anticipating further money laundering through DeFi platforms and instant exchange services. US authorities have urged cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain operators, and other virtual asset service providers to intercept transactions related to the addresses involved. https://wublock123.com/news/north-korea-denies-involvement-in-binance-6-3b-heist-fbi-accusation-71204
