[Swan Founder: AI Poses a Greater Near-Term Threat to Bitcoin Security Than Quantum Computing] According to a report by Cointelegraph on November 3rd, Swan Bitcoin founder Cory Klippsten stated in an interview that artificial intelligence poses a greater near-term threat to Bitcoin security than quantum computing, with hackers using large language models to probe for vulnerabilities.
Klippsten predicts that quantum computers capable of threatening Bitcoin cryptography will not emerge for at least another 10 years, or even longer. He believes that if the threat becomes credible, the Bitcoin network can adopt quantum-resistant protection measures, but hastily implementing them now would add unnecessary complexity.
