[Omen AI Acquires Aquatic Labs for $16 Million] According to a TechCrunch report on November 2nd, Omen AI, a data center water monitoring startup, is acquiring rival Aquatic Labs for $16 million in cash and stock. Both companies develop real-time water sensors: Omen AI's sensors detect elements in water, while Aquatic Labs' sensors detect alkalinity. The two teams are integrating their technologies into a single sensor, expected to launch early next year. Aquatic Labs CEO Allan Adams will serve as the chief scientific officer of the merged company. Omen AI previously completed a $31 million Series A funding round in June.
