[Ignas Criticizes KAST Token Plan: Huge Legal Compliance Investment, Unclear Actual User Benefits] Odaily Planet Daily reports that DeFi researcher Ignas criticized the increasing dominance of legal advisors in the current crypto industry, citing Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong's view that while lawyer-led companies may avoid trouble, they may also stifle innovation. Regarding KAST's recently announced points conversion plan, Ignas stated that even if the project spends millions of dollars hiring lawyers, what users will ultimately gain remains unclear. Tokens often fail to align with community interests, even becoming tools for the team or insiders to profit, lacking ownership and other legal rights. However, tokens may still offer features that equity cannot provide. Ignas urged the project to invest resources in designing tokens truly aligned with community interests, and included KAST, along with Pump, OpenSea, and MetaMask, on his so-called "disappointment list," arguing that these projects failed to deliver on their previous promises.
