At OKX, security is a long-term investment. We began exploring the use of AI for vulnerability discovery and penetration testing in early 2025. To date, we have automated tens of thousands of attack tests. During this process, the security team has also submitted vulnerabilities to numerous infrastructure vendors and received public acknowledgments. Previously, the team submitted vulnerability feedback to Apple regarding the potential for gaining sensitive information or system control through operating system vulnerabilities: https://support.(apple.com)/en-us/128067, and received multiple thanks from Apple. Faced with constantly evolving attack methods, OKX has consistently invested manpower, technology, and resources to repeatedly test and improve its defenses. This work is often not visible, but every investment is related to the security of user assets. However, the deeper we delve, the more we realize the difficulty of security work. Attackers are constantly using new technologies, and we must continuously improve the coverage and accuracy of our tests, constantly discovering and resolving problems. Security has no end, and there is no one-size-fits-all defense. As our boss @star_okx said, no system is absolutely secure. Past achievements have made us better equipped to meet challenges, but they cannot be a reason to let our guard down. Going forward, OKX will continue to invest, strengthen self-examination, remain humble, and do its utmost to protect user assets.
