BitMine added 8,573 ETH last week, bringing its total holdings to approximately 6.06 million ETH. According to Foresight News, BitMine added 8,573 ETH last week. As of November 1, 2026, its total ETH holdings reached 6,060,506 ETH, representing approximately 4.9% of the total ETH supply. Currently, BitMine's total cryptocurrency, cash, and other investment assets are valued at approximately $14.5 billion, including $498 million in cash and securities, 216 Bitcoins, $180 million in equity in Beast Industries, and an $82 million investment in Eightco Holdings (ORBS). In addition, it has staked 5,227,037 ETH (86% of its total holdings), worth approximately $11.8 billion at $2,261 per ETH, with a current annualized staking yield of approximately $358 million. Furthermore, Tom Lee, Chairman of BitMine, stated in the company's weekly report that the market reaction to the Binance hack was relatively mild: In February 2025, when Bybit was hacked for $1.5 billion, ETH fell 8% on the day of the attack and accumulated a 20% drop within a week. In contrast, the amount stolen from Binance this time was approximately four times that, yet ETH has only fallen 4% since the incident was disclosed. He believes there are six reasons for this: Binance has the capacity to cover all user losses; there was no chain reaction of DeFi protocol failures similar to the Bybit hack; the industry acted swiftly, reducing potential losses by 50%; the FBI identified North Korea as the attacker within two days of the theft, whereas previously it might have taken up to 180 days; this attack was a penetration of Binance's corporate infrastructure, not a blockchain vulnerability; and the limited price decline indicates the crypto bull market is still ongoing. Tom Lee believes this demonstrates the increasing resilience of the crypto industry and its greater ability to withstand nation-state attacks.
