[b14g: Core Network Recovers Approximately 68.15 Million Stolen Core Tokens via Hard Fork, Not Yet Distributed to Users] Bitcoin's double-staking protocol b14g released an update on its recovery, stating that the Core network underwent a hard fork today. Through a one-time on-chain state adjustment, 68,146,177.22 Core tokens were transferred from three attacker-controlled addresses and recovered, representing approximately 70.2% of the 97,045,563 Core tokens affected by the October 31st incident. This operation did not roll back transactions, issue new tokens, or change the total supply of Core. The recovered tokens have not yet been distributed to affected users, and related funds held or frozen by exchanges have not been returned. b14g stated that it is still verifying balances and developing a distribution plan; there is currently no official claims process.
