[Hong Kong Stock Exchange: Extending After-Hours Trading Hours for Derivatives] According to Jinse Finance, on November 2nd, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) will extend the after-hours trading hours for derivatives. From March 2027, the closing time for the after-hours trading hours for derivatives on the HKEX will be extended from the current 3:00 AM to 4:15 AM. Based on market developments following the extension, the HKEX will consider further extending the closing time to 5:15 AM in November 2027. Under the new arrangement, the closing time for the after-hours trading hours will be extended from 3:00 AM to 4:15 AM, allowing market participants to flexibly manage risks outside of Hong Kong's daytime trading hours in response to external market conditions.
