[Hong Kong Stock Exchange: Extending After-Market Trading Hours for Derivatives] The Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) will extend the after-market trading hours for derivatives. From March 2027, the closing time for the after-market trading hours for derivatives on the HKEX will be extended from the current 3:00 AM to 4:15 AM. Depending on market developments following the extension, the HKEX will consider further extending the closing time to 5:15 AM in November 2027. Under the new arrangement, the extended closing time will allow market participants to flexibly manage risks outside of Hong Kong's daytime trading hours in response to external market conditions.
