[Alphabet Launches Second Eurobond Issuance This Year] According to Deep Tide TechFlow, on November 2nd, Google's parent company, Alphabet, launched its second eurobond issuance this year. The issuance is planned in seven tranches and is another move by the large technology company to raise funds for its artificial intelligence investments. According to a source familiar with the matter, the bonds issued by Alphabet have maturities ranging from 2 to 19 years. The initial price guidance for the shortest-term fixed-rate bonds is approximately 60 basis points higher than the medium-term swap rate, while the spread for the longest-term bonds is approximately 205 to 210 basis points.
Barclays, BNP Paribas, and Deutsche Bank are handling the issuance, which is expected to be priced later on Monday. As the scale and pace of such bond issuances continue to accelerate, investors are beginning to show signs of fatigue. Recent bond issuances have attracted weaker demand, forcing issuers to price at higher spreads, pushing up debt financing costs. (Jinshi)
