BTCPay Server alert: Attackers are draining Bitcoin from some self-hosted BTCPay servers that keep private keys online (hot wallets). Affects: Mainly older versions with hot wallets. Updated servers look safer so far. Not on the same scale as the recent Binance incident, but another reminder that hot wallets remain a risk , and this probably won’t be the last one.
