Wu learned that Tim Garcia, head of validator relations at the Solana Foundation, tweeted that the Linux kernel vulnerability CVE-2026-98432 has been patched, but a patch has not yet been released for Ubuntu. Garcia recommends that validators running Ubuntu temporarily block inbound TCP packets with the IPv4 option and disable multipath TCP and TCP request socket migration.
