Wu has learned that Talis Protocol disclosed on Twitter that on October 31, attackers exploited a vulnerability in its Injective market and auction contract to steal approximately 5,700 escrowed NFTs and sold them through a series of publicly available buyout offers. The platform has suspended new listings and auctions on Injective, returning over 26,000 NFTs within the contract to their original holders; new listings and auctions on other chains have also been suspended, but existing offers can still be cancelled. The patched contract is undergoing pre-deployment review. The platform is developing a plan to return the affected NFTs to their original holders and compensate bidders who submitted completed offers.
