During a Canadian military training exercise, one soldier decided to catch a quick nap while leaning against the tire of an M777 howitzer. Unfortunately, he had chosen one of the loudest places imaginable to fall asleep. Moments later, the artillery gun fired, sending out a thunderous blast that instantly startled him awake. Confused and shaken, he jumped to his feet as his fellow soldiers erupted in laughter. The clip has circulated online for years, becoming a hilarious example of unexpected military moments. However, being this close to active artillery is extremely dangerous, as the intense noise and blast pressure can cause serious injuries. All he wanted was a peaceful nap, but instead, he got the loudest wake-up call of his life.
