After reading Hu Chenfeng's so-called "five top-tier" insights that transcend the times, I can only say: he's living in the past and is outdated.
1. Apple is the best phone. Apple has no flaws except for its high price.
This is truly laughable! I used to be an Apple fan, but now I'm completely indifferent to Apple products because I use Huawei phones and MatePads.
No comparison, no harm. Look at the iPhone Duo, Apple's worst product ever.
2. Tesla is the best car. Rolls-Royce, Porsche, Ferrari—compared to Tesla, they're all garbage.
This is purely based on emotion to create division. Huawei's Wenjie and Zunjie cars are a level above Tesla in terms of product strength and user experience.
BYD's Yangwang U7 and U8 are very popular among high-end users both domestically and internationally.
3. Sam's Club is the best supermarket. The only place in China where you can eat food that's healthier, safer, and tastier than imported food is Sam's Club.
This is simply ignorant. Pang Donglai Supermarket is much better than Sam's Club; Sam's Club was recently summoned by food safety regulators.
4. An IELTS score of 7 equals a 985 university degree; 985 universities are useless.
This is even more ridiculous. DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng, Moon's Dark Side founder Yang Zhilin, and other young entrepreneurs—aren't they all top talents from 985 universities?
And then there's Deng Taihua, CEO of Zhiyuan Robotics, a graduate of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, who rose to vice president at Huawei, leading the construction of the Kunpeng and Ascend ecosystems, and then achieved over 1 billion RMB in revenue within three years of starting his own business, and will be selected as one of Time's 100 Most Influential People in AI in 2026.
Hu Chenfeng said 985 universities are useless, but those who changed the landscape of AI and robotics in China are all from 985 universities.
I think Hu Chenfeng is just a frog in a well, sour grapes.
5. Everyone who buys a house is an idiot. House prices will definitely fall further, even more, wildly, and drastically.
Using extreme emotions to deny the most genuine needs of ordinary people. It's common for wealthy people to buy houses outright. Are these wealthy people idiots?
Hu Chenfeng relies on creating conflict to gain traffic, but the times have long since moved forward.
What's being abandoned isn't the homebuyers, but their outdated and stagnant thinking.
