Election week begins Monday, and this period typically sees significant volatility. Next week's only major data release is the non-farm payrolls report, while the key earnings reports will likely be from CoreWeave and Gemini. However, more than macroeconomics and earnings, I'm worried about the midterm elections and whether Iran will cause any trouble. The US hasn't reacted much to Iran's renewed plan to open the Strait of Hormuz in two days. Furthermore, Trump keeps harping on attacking Iran after the midterms. I wonder if Iran will try to sabotage Trump and the Republicans during the election. Oil prices haven't improved at all this weekend. If Iran intensifies its efforts to push oil prices up again next week, the Republicans will be in a very difficult position, and Trump's attempts to shift blame will be ineffective. I bought one Bitcoin at $76,000 on Friday, thinking there was a chance, but now I'm less confident. With withdrawals resuming on Binance, cryptocurrency investor sentiment should have eased considerably. For bitcoin:native, as long as oil prices and tech stocks remain stable, the trend shouldn't be too bad. Just thinking about oil prices gives me a headache. I am indeed still shorting, but the funding rates are too high. I slightly reduced my position during the recent period of market volatility because I don't think there will be a chance for a reconciliation in the medium term. @Gate, trading more markets
