[Solana Mobile: Malicious App Found on dApp Store Asking for Mnemonic Phrase] Solana Mobile posted on the X platform that a malicious third-party app called "SKR Claim" was submitted to the Solana dApp Store today. The attacker, after unauthorized access to the dApp Publishing Portal, modified the App Spotlight and Quests interfaces, prompting users to enter a mnemonic phrase. The app was removed from the dApp Spotlight after approximately one hour and is currently being removed from installed devices. The team has fixed the vulnerability that allowed links to incompletely published apps and reminds users that Solana Mobile will never ask for mnemonic phrases or crypto assets, nor will it ask users to connect their wallets to claim airdrops.
