The first batch of donated shares is currently being transferred to an escrow account and is expected to be disbursed in December. The initial beneficiaries are children aged 11 to 17 residing in zip codes with a median household income of $57,000 or less, as well as children in areas with too small a population to provide a median household income. These families are expected to be notified by Monday. Shotwell also stated that additional donations will be finalized in the coming weeks to cover children aged 11 to 17 in families of overseas service members, foster children, and more children residing in counties surrounding SpaceX headquarters in Texas with a median household income of $90,000 or less.
