If the data is too strong, I'm worried interest rates won't come down; if it's too weak, I'm worried the economy won't be able to hold up. The key is to find a reason to sell off in either direction; don't rush in just because it's "below expectations." Next week, I'll be watching one thing: after the news is released, will anyone still be willing to buy? Good earnings reports can drive up prices, and there will be buyers on pullbacks, making it more reassuring to hold.
