[Musk Discusses SpaceX's Computing Power Deployment: Space Computing Power Expected to Surpass Ground Computing Power by the End of 2028]
Odaily Planet Daily reports that Sequoia Capital partner Shaun Maguire predicts through modeling that SpaceX's revenue will increase from approximately $51.5 billion in fiscal year 2026 to approximately $274 billion in fiscal year 2027, a year-on-year increase of approximately 5.3 times, and further rise to approximately $731 billion in fiscal year 2028. Analysts believe that SpaceX's growth is primarily driven by its space infrastructure (SI) business, especially its ground computing power business, whose deployment scale is expected to expand from 1GW at the beginning of 2026 to 21GW by the end of 2028.
In response, Musk stated that compared to space computing power, the future scale of ground computing power will be negligible. He predicts that by the end of 2028, SpaceX's monthly newly deployed space orbital computing power may exceed ground computing power, and will significantly lead in 2029.
