[Echelon Website Restored; Domain Hijacking Originated from Unauthorized Registrar Modification] Jinse Finance reported on November 1st that Echelon, a modular currency market, tweeted that its official website access has been fully restored and domain name resolution is normal. After investigation, the team confirmed that the incident stemmed from an unauthorized name server change at the domain registrar level. The domain is managed through Vercel, with (Name.com) as the registrar. The name server was changed to the registrar's DNS without authorization, causing visitors to be redirected to a phishing clone website. The issue is limited to the domain registrar and DNS configuration; Echelon smart contracts were unaffected.
Previously, Echelon tweeted yesterday that its domain may have been redirected to an unauthorized website.
