The Binance hack actually had a greater impact on ETH.
The hackers have already exchanged a large number of stablecoins and other stolen tokens for ETH, currently controlling approximately 510,000 ETH, worth about $1.15 billion, and 18,270 BTC.
BTC served as a reserve asset for the hackers, as most BTC remains largely inactive after a theft.
However, ETH also served as the settlement asset for the hackers to exchange other stolen funds.
Furthermore, due to the hackers' extensive borrowing and purchasing of ETH, they have become a major holder of ETH.
In the future, the hackers will inevitably transfer, split, and liquidate this ETH, further exacerbating the situation for ETH holders.
