According to Criptovaluta, Italy's 2027 draft budget proposes an "Exit Tax" to tax unrealized investment gains of high-net-worth individuals residing overseas, potentially including cryptocurrencies. The draft stipulates that it applies to individuals who have been Italian tax residents for at least six of the past ten tax years and whose related financial assets total at least €800,000. Even without selling the assets, capital gains could be taxed upon changing tax residency. This measure is not specifically targeted at cryptocurrencies and has not yet received final approval from parliament. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/italy-proposes-exit-tax-crypto-unrealized-gains-taxation-71109
