[Musk xAI Grok Now Supports China UnionPay and Alipay Payments; Users Report First Month Subscription Half-Price] According to IT Home, users have reported that Grok, developed by Musk's xAI (also known as SpaceXAI), now supports China UnionPay and Alipay payments. The subscription page also offers region options for Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. IT Home confirmed this. Since Cursor (which supported Alipay on April 9, 2025) was acquired by SpaceXAI, there have been reports of Alipay being available on Grok in a limited rollout, culminating in its recent widespread availability. Furthermore, since X (formerly Twitter) shares the same payment system with Grok, users can also subscribe to X Premium using Alipay and enjoy Grok's Plus-level subscription. Additionally, all first-time Grok subscribers are eligible for a 50% discount on their first month.
