[Aave Restricts New tBTC Deposits and Loans Collateralized with tBTC] According to a TechFlow report on October 31st, Aave has restricted new tBTC deposits and new loans collateralized with tBTC due to a maintenance update for Threshold's tBTC service. Aave stated that its contracts are unaffected, existing positions remain unchanged, and users can still make repayments and withdraw assets normally. New deposits and loans will resume after maintenance is complete. Previously, Threshold stated that during security maintenance, it had temporarily suspended new BTC deposits, tBTC minting, and new Bitcoin redemption requests through the Threshold application.
