[MetaMask Sets Stellar as the Default Network] Blockchain network Stellar announced that it is now the default network in the MetaMask mobile app and browser extension. Effective immediately, every existing MetaMask account will automatically generate a Stellar address (derived from the user's existing mnemonic phrase) without additional setup. Users can directly hold, manage, send, and receive XLM, Trustline assets, and Soroban tokens, and exchange them between Stellar and other supported networks. Existing Stellar users can also import their mnemonic phrases.
