We have noticed some accounts spreading claims that "OKX has been hacked," based on an on-chain transaction transferring funds from OKX to an "unknown wallet." While I understand the desire for traffic and attention, this disregard for facts and creation of panic not only misleads users but also damages trust within the entire industry. An "unknown wallet" means that the on-chain monitoring platform has not yet identified the address's ownership, and does not imply asset theft. This transfer of 172 million USDT was an internal fund transfer conducted by OKX itself. We have previously issued a clarification through the same media channel: https://www.theblockbeats.info/flash/374600 Unfortunately, even after the clarification, some accounts continue to interpret a normal on-chain transfer as "hacking," creating unnecessary panic. When the industry faces security challenges, we should work together to maintain trust and overcome difficulties, rather than allowing unverified claims to further amplify panic. We also welcome on-chain monitoring platforms @whale_alert to contact us. We are willing to provide relevant address information to help improve labeling and reduce misunderstandings caused by unclear address ownership. Finally, OKX has been investing tirelessly in security for the past 13 years, striving to provide a secure user environment for every user!
