Following the attack on Binance's Ethereum hot wallet, LlamaRisk, Aave Labs, and others decided that Guardian would freeze the entire network, freezing 175 reserves across 16 Aave V3 networks and 117 reserves across four Aave V4 spokes. User fund security is paramount, and Aave's actions as the largest decentralized lending marketplace are commendable.
