[Iranian Media Accuses Axios Journalist of Psychological Warfare Through Media Reports, Claims Nuclear Issue Not on Negotiation Agenda]
BlockBeats reported on October 31 that Barak Ravid, an Israeli journalist and Axios reporter, is a prominent member of the Israeli military's 8200 unit. He published a series of reports early this morning attempting to launch a large-scale psychological warfare campaign against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Ravid claimed that negotiations between the US and Iran were continuing, while simultaneously exaggerating the possibility of US military action against Iran, deliberately amplifying tensions and attempting to create an atmosphere that the best, and last, chance to reach an agreement was "now."
Tasnim News Agency reported that Ravid subsequently claimed in his psychological warfare propaganda that Tehran demanded the US lift its naval blockade to continue negotiations, while Washington was making concessions from Iran on the nuclear issue a condition for resuming dialogue. However, according to Iranian officials, the nuclear issue was not even on the agenda in this round of indirect negotiations with the US. (Jinshi)
