The biggest event today was the Binance hack. I followed the situation almost from the moment it was discovered until withdrawals were suspended. What struck me most was the unity among most industry professionals, and even competitors, in the face of this attack. After all, the more challenging the market, the fewer users one will have. These past 24 hours have been incredibly difficult; not only did Binance encounter problems, but Polymarket also experienced issues, causing widespread panic. It's not just the cryptocurrency sector; US stocks also plummeted due to earnings reports from Intel and Amazon. And that's not all; oil prices continue to add to the turmoil. With the midterm elections next week, the market is worried that a US military strike against Iran after the elections could further escalate risks in the Middle East, and oil prices will be the first to be affected. Thankfully, today is the last trading day; hopefully, investor sentiment will calm down over the weekend. Tomorrow is the last day of October. After this day, I estimate that October's inflation will be significantly higher than September's, and even core inflation data will be very poor. The probability of a Fed rate hike in December is likely to be extremely high. Later today, Fed official Logan, a voting member for 2026, also stated that under the current circumstances, the Fed should raise rates at least twice. This means either a 25% rate hike twice, or a 50% hike, but I think 50% is still a bit aggressive. Also, I bought two cryptocurrencies at bitcoin:native at $76,000 today to buy the dip. We won't know the result until 4 PM on Monday. If I bought at that price, I'm perfectly fine. @Gate, for more market information.
