[US Commodity Futures Trading Commission: Speculators Increased Net Short Positions in CBOT US Ultra-Long-Term Treasury Futures by 8,417 Contracts in the Week Ending October 27] Data from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) shows that in the week ending October 27, speculators increased their net short positions in CBOT US ultra-long-term Treasury futures by 8,417 contracts to 383,578 contracts; reduced their net short positions in CBOT US 5-year Treasury futures by 45,053 contracts to 1,029,056 contracts; and reduced their net short positions in CBOT US Treasury futures by 49,281 contracts to 19,138 contracts.
