US stocks opened sharply lower, but Bitcoin has temporarily stabilized above the previous daily support level of 75. Is the drop over? Let's discuss a few points I think are worth noting:
1️⃣ Nearly 24 hours have passed since the BlackBerry hack, and the market sentiment may still need time to process the events.
Currently, Bitcoin is indeed holding above 75. Once withdrawals reopen (which I believe will be manageable without a run on the exchange), we'll mainly observe market sentiment. The next support level is around 68-72.
2️⃣ After the BlackBerry security incident is resolved, the main focus remains on oil prices and interest rate expectations.
Currently, WTI oil prices are near 105. Earnings reports from some core US stocks fell short of expectations, leading to a sharp drop in US stocks.
If there's no interest rate hike in October, but a hike is highly likely in December, some of that has already been priced in. This will continue to suppress the risk market, and whether it will continue to fall is uncertain.
3️⃣ Currently, some core US stocks, such as SPCX, Micron, and Nvidia, have indeed fallen to attractive value levels. Personally, I think it's worth paying attention to.
Whether it will fall further depends on whether oil prices continue to rise, since most of the earnings reports have already been released. It's already at 105; how much higher can it go? Geopolitical tensions will eventually ease.
Once a macroeconomic positive factor, such as a drop in oil prices, is identified, US stocks will immediately rebound.
In general, there's still a chance to speculate on a short-term rebound, but a one-sided upward trend is still a long way off.
Personally, didn't I overuse Google on 284 before?
