Goodnight, brothers. Today is my 668th day of dollar-cost averaging with OKX. I've already checked in for today's investment. A black swan event occurred in the crypto world today. Binance was hacked for approximately $6.3 billion, suspected to be by North Korean hackers. The theft occurred in just a few tens of minutes and is currently the largest cryptocurrency theft to date. Binance has suspended deposits and withdrawals, stating it will fully cover the losses; about half of the funds are currently frozen. BTC subsequently fell significantly, currently around $77,000, a considerable drop from above $80,000 a few days ago. In the US stock market, the Nasdaq closed down about 1.4% on Thursday, while the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average saw slight declines, mainly due to earnings reports from companies like Google, and lingering doubts about the return on AI investments. On my 668th day of dollar-cost averaging, black swan events easily make people think "I have to do something" instead of "I see it." The thought of selling when prices drop, or buying on dips, ultimately turns a fixed rhythm into a last-minute decision. If the plan was already set, I would have bought the same amount today. Pay attention to the event, but don't change your actions accordingly. For dollar-cost averaging, I only use OKX.
