[Nvidia's Debt Default Insurance Costs Surpass Meta, AI Financing Risks Rise] Frank Curzio, CEO of Curzio Research, stated that the cost of default insurance for Nvidia's debt has more than tripled this year. Currently, the cost of purchasing default insurance for Nvidia's debt has exceeded that of Meta. This is the first time this has happened since at least November 2025. Goldman Sachs clients have called it "a crisis without a crisis." Demand for AI chips remains strong; the real shortage is in the availability of lenders.
