According to The Jerusalem Post, Israel has extradited Alexander Block (formerly Alexander Gurevich), a dual Israeli and Russian citizen, to the United States for alleged involvement in the 2022 Nomad cross-chain bridge attack, which allegedly stole approximately $2.8 million in cryptocurrency assets. US prosecutors allege that he exploited a vulnerability in the Nomad verification mechanism to acquire tokens without locking the underlying assets and then transferred funds through multiple wallets to conceal the source of the funds. In 2023, US prosecutors indicted the man on eight counts, including computer crime, transferring stolen property, and money laundering. His appeal against the extradition decision was previously rejected by the Israeli Supreme Court. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/israel-extradites-nomad-hacking-suspect-us-280k-loss-71038
